I don't know about your mornings when school is in session, but ours are so rushed and crazy that giving my kiddos $2.50 each to grab lunch from school sounds super-convenient to me.

As my sons don't have to worry about gluten, all I'm concerned about is whether they'll actually eat what is on tap for the day and that it is a well-balanced and nutritious.

For the most part, their schools do offer healthy options, unlike like the soggy, hot bologna and cheese-food sandwiches that our “delightful” school “chef” dished out when I was a child.

But, if your kiddo is gluten-free, school lunches are likely off the table. Therefore, I've compiled seven of my sons' favorite lunches, that they don't even realize are gluten-free.

These seven kid-approved gluten-free lunch box recipes are made using seven ingredients or less.

WARNING: All of these recipes can be made the night before, which may cause you to run ahead of schedule in the morning.
